Let's get you rolling.
Your new mid-drive motor is smarter than it looks — and easier than it sounds. Seven quick cards and you'll know it like an old friend.
The muscle. Sits at your pedals and adds push as you ride.
The snack pack. Clicks onto the frame; charges on or off the bike.
The brain. Hidden inside — it decides how much help you get.
The dashboard. Speed, battery, and mode at a glance.
Plug the battery into the wall charger. Solid green light = full. First charge takes about 4 hours.
Slide the battery onto the frame rail until you hear a click. Give it a gentle tug — no wobble means you're good.
Press and hold the power button for 2 seconds. The display wakes up, the bolt glows — you're live.
Use when you want the most range — long weekend rides, easy cruising.
Up to 110 km per charge
Use when you're commuting — quick off the line, relaxed at cruising speed.
Up to 70 km per charge
Use when the hill wins otherwise — steep climbs, heavy cargo, headwinds.
Up to 40 km per charge
Battery bar. Five segments; it turns coral when one is left — time to plan a charge.
Your speed. The big number in the middle — no squinting at 30 km/h.
Current mode. Shown in its color — sunshine here means City.
Almost everything sorts itself out in under a minute. Truly.
Display won't wake up
Re-seat the battery until it clicks, then hold power for 2 seconds. It's almost always the click.
Motor feels weaker than yesterday
Check the mode — you're probably in Eco. Below 15% battery, the M1 also gently saves power for you.
Display shows "E-21"
That's just a sensor hiccup. Power off, spin the pedals backward once, power on. Gone.
Ride safe, charge often.
That's everything you need for your first thousand kilometers. The M1 will take care of the rest.
Top up the battery every few rides — it prefers 20–80%.
Wipe the motor housing dry after wet rides.
Store the battery indoors when it's freezing out.
Once a year: a 10-minute checkup at your VoltCore dealer.
